My Approach

Gottman Method Couples Therapy

My approach to couples therapy is grounded in the renowned Gottman Method, backed by over four decades of research on what the essential ingredients are for successful marriages and committed relationships.

Prioritizing Your Relationship

I believe your marriage or romantic partnership is one of the most crucial aspects of your life. Extensive research highlights that the quality of our closest relationships significantly influence our overall well-being. To support your relationship goals, I employ evidence-based best practices that have been demonstrated by research to be effective. I bring extensive training,  education and clinical experience.

Successful therapy relies on establishing a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust from the outset.  Finding a therapist with whom you feel comfortable with is vital for therapeutic effectiveness. My clients often express relief in knowing they have a therapist who genuinely cares and understands their struggles. Trust, emotional safety, and genuine care set the stage for meaningful growth.

I am committed to making my services accessible to people from diverse backgrounds, regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, or culture. Additionally, I strive to provide couples with resources and coaching so that ultimately, my role becomes obsolete.
